It was our first time down in Melbourne with the ability to ride around and see it with a view from the pushys. It was a thrill because it’s the view we’re going to get at CMWC including cameras swinging around our necks and our bags loaded down with chargers, microphones and tripods. We are first timers to worlds and I am dropping all kewl pretences and just being outwardly lame and excited. Jambi are going to do the best we can to get the whole of the event and side-shows on camera and film and getting it up on this here site quick sticks. In preparation, and to get acquainted with Melbourne and it’s people, we went down from Sydney, (where we work), to Melbourne, (where this years CMWC is). We got to know the organisers and peeked behind the curtain; we rode around the main area of Docklands, a newborn urban redevelopment that has both seamless pavement and unfinished worksites. We rode out of the city through massive drains and into the suburbs where the velodrome lives, we saw local live music and bumped into Maka, who did some graf for the us.
This video is from bounty of footage we got, and we forked out to get Vimeo Plus, so now you can watch it HD straight up, so thats cool.
